Activates on the first qualifying service after the manufacturer’s warranty ends. Valid for 12 months or (if lower) 9,000/12,500 miles (mileage cap varies based on model’s service interval) and renews on each subsequent qualifying service, up to a maximum of 10 years of cover from the date of first registration or (if lower) 100,000 miles. The quoted charging speed of 45 minutes is based on charging from 10% to 80% and requires a minimum 70kW rapid DC charger, which is only available on public charging networks (see https://www.zap-map.com/live/ for information on availability). Charging on a common 7kW AC home charger will charge the e Vitara with a 61kWh battery in 9 hours from 10 to 100% and a 49kWh battery in 6 hours and 30 minutes from 10-100%.
