With our dealerships open again after their closure during the pandemic lockdown, customers are able to take test drives in Suzuki models. Test drives obviously present challenges when it comes to social distancing. However, rest assured that Suzuki is taking all the necessary precautions to welcome back customers to a safe environment.

We’ve therefore introduced a number of measures to ensure that you stay safe when you come to take a Suzuki for a test drive from a dealership.

The first thing to note is that before coming to a dealership for a test drive, you have to make an appointment. This allows our dealers to plan for the number of people in their showrooms at any one time and to ensure that vehicles are fully prepared before a test drive.

Once an appointment has been agreed upon, the dealer will:

  • Contact you, providing any details about the process of the test drive
  • Ensure that the car you are going to test drive has been thoroughly sanitised before your arrival
  • Thoroughly clean and disinfect the car used for the test drive and allow the vehicle to be ventilated before being used for another test drive

Alternatively, we can be flexible to meet your particular individual needs, so if you would rather avoid coming to a dealership for your test drive, we can offer you a virtual test drive over video.

Social distancing rules mean that the sales advisor who would normally have accompanied you on your test drive will not be travelling in a passenger seat and so you will take the test drive alone.

If you don’t feel as if you can take a test drive at this time, ask your local dealer to arrange a virtual test drive for you – via a channel such as Zoom or WhatsApp (the method used can be agreed by you and the dealer) – which will enable you to experience many of the features of the car of interest.

Whatever your requirements, our dealers are happy to arrange your test drive, so book one today.
