SAFETY IN DEALERSHIPS
Any documents that have to be signed for the transaction will be sent digitally, with electronic signature software being used as much as possible.
If a physical signature is required, however, rest assured that separators at the dealership keep staff members and customers physically apart, to keep everyone safe. Any pens required for signing are either disinfected before use or are brand new. After use, pens are either disposed of or thoroughly disinfected.
At handover
Ideally, any financial transactions are made by phone, using contactless payments or bank transfers, and avoiding cash payments as much as possible.
All the contact surfaces in our vehicles are being thoroughly cleaned, with single-use protection sets. The car will also have been completely ventilated before it is handed over to you at a dedicated handover bay at the dealership.

As the sales advisor isn’t able to sit with you in the vehicle, they will share video user-guides with you, explaining all the important features of your new Suzuki.
Part Exchanging Your Car
If you are part-exchanging a vehicle as part of the transaction, the valuation process will also be conducted in line with social distancing guidelines. You will need to agree with your local dealer on the best way of conducting the valuation.
Once the part-exchange has been agreed, the car can be collected from your home, but you must remove all your belongings in advance and there can be no physical contact with the car for a minimum of three hours before the pick-up time. If you drop off the car at the dealership, you will need to take it to a dedicated area that the dealer has set aside for the purpose.

Once you have decided on the car you wish to buy, the process of paying and taking delivery of it is also being conducted with customer safety as our number one priority. Once you’ve purchased your new Suzuki, we have a number of processes in place to ensure that it is delivered to you safely.
