The Vitara comes with two options for hybrid technology: Mild Hybrid and Full Hybrid.

With the Mild Hybrid system, the small electric motor gives a helping hand to the 1.4-litre Boosterjet engine when it needs it most, like during acceleration or going uphill.

The Full Hybrid powertrain provides dual power, seamlessly switching between the 1.5-litre petrol engine and electric motor - or using a combination of both - to drive the wheels. Both achieving impressive fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions output.

Sizing up the Vitara and S-Cross? 

The S-Cross (4,300m length) comes in slightly larger than the Vitara (4,185m length), but you can take a look at the dimensions for yourself here.

The Vitara isn't available as a plug-in, but you can choose between Mild and Full Hybrid tech.

Yes, all Vitara models benefit from an integrated sat nav in addition to smartphone connectivity, which means with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, you can easily connect your mobile phone’s navigation app.
