MARINE AREA SALES MANAGER
As someone with a passion for everything to do with boats, engines and spending time on the water, you’ll fit right in here at Suzuki. As an integral part of our sales team, you’ll use your people skills to build and maintain a profitable and supportive relationship with the Marine Dealers and OEM Boat Builders in Southern England.
Through strong sales and marketing actions you will ensure the timely and effective sale and distribution of all SGB Marine products to your accounts, striving to meet and where possible, exceed sales targets. You will also be responsible for business development and growth through existing channel partners as well as identifying open point opportunities to extend the network.
This is a business-critical position, in which you’ll be ‘the face of Suzuki’ to Dealers, Boat Builders and customers. So, you’ll need to be an excellent communicator and enthusiastic team player, able to make complex technical topics and ideas easy and accessible for non-specialists.
You’ll also be able to stay focused and manage your own workload effectively, especially when things get pressurised. A solid technical and academic background and professional qualifications, plus relevant sales experience is desirable.
We have Dealers, Boat Builders and events across the UK and Ireland, so you’ll be mainly field-based, with extensive travelling, some overnight stays and work outside normal office hours when required. You’ll also have regular days working from our head office in Milton Keynes.
